Hepworth Conqueror Stout at FusionBar One Petersfield

Hepworths Conqueror Stout does not normally have such a large head; this was done to show of the Brewery’s name on the glass!
This evening I tried the Hepworth Conqueror Stout at FusionBar One in Petersfield; now I am not really a Stout drinker, hence only 4 stars. If this was Guinness I would have rated it only 3 stars; I guess that shows that I was quite impressed with the beer.
It is a typically dark color with a white head; like all the best stouts it takes time to pour; the wait though is worth it; it is a quite a heavy drink.
The Hepworth Brewery website describes the bees as: “Our newest addition, this is a sumptuous stout where the roasted barley character from the crystal malt is balanced with bitterness from Sussex grown Admiral hops. Simply a feast of flavour and very smooth.”
The tasting started off with a simple tweet:
FREE BEER! Tonight in the bar, we’re doing a tasting of our new stout ‘CONQUEROR.’ Come and join in from 6 p.m! Please RT! #petersfield

Free Beer! I was hooked! Stopping off in Cloisters Cafe for a quick coffee first, I then made my way to Fushionbar One for my free pint. Fushionbar One is one of the best restaurants in Petersfield; I will do a post on it soon; it serves “Pan Asian Fusion Cuisine.”
I feel I should write more on this; but alas I am out of time; there is something I want to watch on TV; sorry! I will update in a day or two via live blogging; this will appear below!
