Web Design Petersfield Hampshire

After much deliberation I have decided to offer Web Design in Petersfield, Hampshire. Having hit The 59p SEO Company on the head I am now working on 29p Web Design.

Mobile Responsive Web Design Petersfield imageFor just £99 I will build a mobile responsive website that will work on all platforms; mobile responsive means the webpage changes to match the screen size of the device it is being viewed on. There will then be an ongoing fee of just 29p a day which covers support and updates as well as hosting.

For more details pleas use this link to (Mobile Responsive Website Design) 29p Web Design.

I have looked at a lot of websites from web designers in and around Petersfield and have noticed quite a few common faults on them. As I get at least one person a week asking me to look at their website I thought I would offer a cheap service that takes out the middle man; those offering web design in Petersfield, Hampshire. So I created 29p.

With the prices I am charging I will need to move out from Hampshire to other locations; probably Surrey and West Sussex; so therefore will be attacking terms such as Web Design Petersfield; Portsmouth; Southampton; Gosport; Fareham; Havant; Waterlooville; Chichester; Guildford and Woking to name a few.

My guess is that I will need around 150 websites to earn me £17k a year; but that would be £17k with doing very little work as all I would need to do is answer a few questions and keep the sites up to date with the latest plugins etc.

Anyway; with a little luck and hard work in the first 2 years it may well work; only time will tell!

This site is now ranking for Web Design Petersfield yet is a trial for a future private blog; now that is interesting me thinks!

Happy Birthday David

Happy Birthday David I must admit I was a little shocked this morning when I loaded chrome; Google was saying Happy Birthday David to me!

I am used to seeing the Google logo celebrating some of past greats; but little old me; if only it was world wide; I would have fame at last. That said I did think it was quite a nice gesture; albeit a little spooky.

As it is my birthday I guess I should take a serious look at myself; my health; my work; my being and start to sort myself out. Perhaps I should give myself a year to reach some goals?

I have a few things that I need to do today; when finished I will get down to sorting things out. I guess the best way forward is to draw up some form of list and add it to this page.

In the mean time I will complete a few little jobs; go into Petersfield to the market and then visit my ill mother in QA Hospital Cosham; she has no idea of time of year and alas unless she is prompted, will not be saying Happy Birthday David.

Free SEO Service

Due to lack of payment from all my clients for some unforeseen and un-work related reason I am now giving up SEO as an occupation. Instead I will offer a Free SEO Service; the reason for this is simply:

“How I see it; if people don’t pay me, then I am no good and I hate failure. So rather than have responsibility over peoples websites I would rather do freebies with no comebacks and no stress when money does not come in.”

Now by offering a free seo service I will not be able to help everyone as I will first of all have to find a job; as long as I am not either past my sell by date or too old and too ugly that is.

I am now 50 and so have little chance in my chosen industry due to the educated former students with their degrees and youthful looks. So I guess I will have to find something else to do. As to what, I am not sure. So any work I do that is free will be an evening thing.

I did think about setting up as a consultant but again I will be relying on others to pay me; not good as so stressful! Actually just had a thought; this should be free seo consultancy and not service.

I have updated the post talking about the term Bridging Loan by adding a link to website for someone. I didn’t need to do it; but they asked nicely.

Looks like I will be hitting the Free SEO service on the head due to movement on the payment front!

Short Term Finance – Bridging Finance – Bridging Loan

Firstly, although things are tight I am not after Short Term Finance or Bridging Finance; I am just writing about Bridging Loans after an email chat with a friend.

Short Term Finance not Payday Loans

To me short term finance suggests those awful payday loans such as Wonga that you see being advertised on television far too often these days; but I had forgotten about people needing bridging finance when buying a house. Payday loans is different; it is meant as a quick way to get you through the month but often leads to a perpetual debt due to excessive charges.

When Ruth and I bought our flat many years ago, we never needed a bridging loan; thankfully! My opinion has always been that they are expensive, however I found out today that that is not always the case. They also do a good service for those who need short term cash while waiting for their house to sell when buying a new one.

Where to get a Bridging Loan

Finding a bridging loan is very easy these days; firstly there are the banks and some building societies; add to these independent financial advisers and then there is on-line. I guess on-line covers all three of the above as well; however you will also come across companies that are set up specifically for these types of loan.

I have been contemplating linking to a website that offers bridging loans but will need to do a little research first; after all I don’t want to give away valuable link juice to someone who does not deserve it.

Occupational Psychology Hampshire Manchester & London

I have been asked to look at the website for a company offering Occupational Psychology in Hampshire, Manchester & London. Thankfully the work I am to do is on the website; like many others I know very little about this subject.

However, the life of an SEO often throws up these little scenarios; you need to work on something where you need to go from zero to passable in a very short term. I guess that is what makes my job great at times, you never know what is around the corner.

The company is based in Hampshire with offices in both Manchester and London; they are well respected in the world of Occupational Psychology. I will not link to them just yet as their website needs work to bring it up to scratch. Once finished then I will post a link to their website for all to see. (Plus I want to get paid first!)

This client is also big in talent management which is offered from a second website; again this site needs work so it is two for the price of one I guess! Maybe not, times are hard you know.

Actually thinking about it I did do a London Psychiatrist’s website a few years ago; he got to number one for Psychiatrists London and did not pay me; I almost went Psych… nah, I won’t be silly. Now I make sure I get paid before I finish jobs.

Back to the matter in hand; this company have numerous search terms they want to rank for; obviously these include Occupational Psychology in Hampshire; Occupational Psychology in Manchester & Occupational Psychology in London.

I have started to have a look at The OPG’s website for Occupational Psychology with a view to optimising it correctly.

Mobility Scooters, Mobility Scooter Hire Sales & Repairs

TGA Breeze 3 Mobility ScooterRentaScoota is a Waterlooville based mobility scooter hire, sales & repair specialists; they have asked me to try and stop their fall in rankings for terms associated with mobility scooters.

A few years ago I used to do their optimisation however sales have dropped by almost 60% since then. The mobility scooter hire business is still going well however the money is in sales.

Currently RentaScoota are number one for mobility scooter hire, I now need to get them to rank for the other terms associated with mobility scooters. These include mobility scooter sales and mobility scooter repairs.

Personally I think they have an issue within Google, but I will not bore you with the details; well not yet.

RentaScoota is expanding and now have a new brand; Mobility at Sea which caters for all aspects of mobility on cruises. I shall be doing work on this website as well as the main website.

I am also creating a new brand for my business and will probably use that for the work I will be carrying out; the sort of money you can get from SEO work these days has dropped though; so I still need another 2 clients to break even.

As with most posts on this website, I will update using the live blog feature; these will appear below and will be mainly around ranking gains/losses and or products associated with mobility and RentaScoota.

It is weird how this post doesn’t rank for Mobility Scooter Hire; but it does for Repairs and Sales!

Past My Sell By Date

David Stainer Past My Sell By DateAfter working for myself for the last 5 years I recently decided to get a job; alas it looks like I am Past My Sell By Date! Can 50 really be too old?

I have an impressive CV; there are very few individuals in the UK who have achieved rankings in Google as I have; in the past one of my sites even overtook Royal Caribbean for the term Royal Caribbean! But alas I am perhaps a one trick pony; too much SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) and not enough PPC (Pay Per Click).

There always seems to be some young whippersnapper who gets the job over me yet I am always told that I was exceptional however they wanted someone… Like I say, I am past my sell by date!

Don’t get me wrong I have only applied for a few jobs, but it is depressing. So as from today I am no longer seeking a role in SEO other than trying to find someone who has about £17k to bank role the first year of a project of mine. Not likely to happen!

I guess that means I will be looking for virtually any kind of job; I would rather not work in a shop though; did that a few years ago and vowed never to return. All I want is a basic wage to get by; I don’t care what the job title is; a job is a job!

From now on I will see myself as a piece of Stilton; on the outside I may look a little old and moldy but inside I will still have something to offer even if I am past my sell by date.

Monkey World Ape Rescue Centre Dorset

Monkey World Dorset

Review of Monkey World Dorset; reviewed by David on Aug 21. Rated 5 Stars

Trip to Monkey World Ape Rescue Centre Dorset

I can’t think of many people who don’t like Chimpanzees or other primates for that matter; today we; the family and I are going on a coach trip to the Monkey World Ape Rescue Centre in Dorset. In anticipation I have rated it 5 stars; this may change after the day has finished.

The centre was set up to home rescued apes; we have all seen them posing for photos in various holiday destinations around the world. These captive animals are often mistreated and arrive at the centre in awful, sometimes un-treatable conditions.

Monkey World does their best to house the rescued apes in large enclosures to allow them a life that tries to replicate their wild environment albeit in a limited way.

I should just say that Monkey World is not a charity; the centre is able to operate via gate money from visitors; donations and adoptions. The work they do is very worthwhile; spare them a thought next time you have some change!

This page will build up slowly during the day as I will be live blogging from the park this afternoon.

Due to my phone camera being basic I could not get many photos of any Monkey’s hence the live blogging never realy got going. I guess it is work in progress!

What I will be doing though is turning this page into a proper promotional page for Monkey World at some point in the future!

Highlight of the day is a toss up between a baby Oran-utan sliding down a long pole while having a wee or a few Oran-utans having a chase around their enclosure.

Finally arrive, time for lunch me thinks!

Stuck in a slow moving traffic jam on the M27, will hopefully get to Monkey World before lunch!

Cheap Cruises? Cruiseo is For Sale

I am in the process of getting a job working for someone else rather than for myself. As a result I am going to off load a few websites that I no longer need; sites like the cheap cruises website Cruiseo which ranks highly for numerous cruise related terms.

The site was started about a year ago and has not really been updated much yet still gets traffic. The asking price, or rather my selling price is around £5,000. The value is in the web positioning rather than traffic. I have deliberately not done much off site SEO on it so that it is a blank canvas for whomever takes it over.

I do have an old acquaintance interested but he has not replied to an email of mine from a couple of days ago and so is probably out of the equation. Shame really as the money would have come in handy for my new project. The one that will make me rich…well comfortable maybe.

The main term of the website, cheap cruises is not the biggest of terms when looking at potential visitors however it is still worth going for.

It is easy to add cruises to the site; I have re-written a lot of code to give it a lot of functionality therefore even a novice can generate a lot of leads for themselves. If anyone wants to buy Cruiseo, the cheap cruises website let me know via Twitter or Facebook.

Tiger Flowers & David’s Diary

Tiger Flower - Tigridia pavonia Today I thought I would start a diary; aptly called David’s Diary. There is no special reason for doing this other than filling in time and also being able to reference back as to what I have been up to.

Today; 8th August 2012 is actually a good day to start David’s Diary as there are a couple of Tiger Flowers (Tigridia pavonia) in the garden. These are often mistaken for Day-lilies as like the Daylily they only bloom for one day; thankfully each year mind! This year we have only had yellow ones; some years the odd red one comes up too.
